What is Yisrael: A Home-born Slave or Freedman?

How many times do we have to repeat history until we've learned the lesson? Is Yisrael a bondman? Is he a home-born slave? Then why is he given over to plunder? (Yeremi'yahu 2:14 | Jer. 2:14). Yisrael continues to follow the same paths even when we have a fair chance at redemption; we continue to stay in the same predicaments as our ancestors. The Almighty has given many of us a free ticket out of the door of captivity. We are supposed to save ourselves (Zekariah 2:6-7 | Zec. 2:6-7), but it seems we

are awaiting for a "Mass Exodus" that will never happen. Do we

enjoy the mental chains because they are now bedazzled with 14-karat gold and sparkly diamonds? Yisrael has blinded itself and has become dumbfounded while we remain under the same oppressors that have raped, pillaged, and murdered our people just some 50 years ago--and it still continues unto this day (Yeshe'yahu 29:9 | Isa. 29:9).

Consequently, Bavel tells us that we must work and dedicate ourselves to their systems for many years of our lives. Precious years that we can never get back where we work towards a life that can never be afforded no matter how hard we try. Sometimes working 20, 30, and even 50 years in a system that doesn't pay half of what we are owed. Many of us say that we are following the TORAH, but how true can this be when we are supposed to be freed if we have to hire ourselves out after 7 years? (Devareim 15:12-15 | Deut. 15:12-15) We continue to allow Bavel to benefit off of our labor--willingly. We complain and march tirelessly, but it is like we are caged birds with the key to free ourselves. YEHOWAH has granted many the opportunity to flee, but some are still comfortable in captivity. "It's just a few more years..." they say. Yes, many will continue to say this until a few more years finally ends up being a life sentence.

Similarly, there are many that have heeded the call to flee. While others say that "fleeing" is futile others are staying steadfast with trusting in YEHOWAH; and choosing a sure destiny over mental and physical captivity. Plenty of Yisraelites' from the US/UK/Caribbeans and other areas were unsure of where leaving the lands of their nativity will leave them, but YEHOWAH has kept them. Granting favor from heeding the call and having the courage of Abraham and Sarah (Beresheit 12:1-3 | Gen. 12:1-3). The true Exodus has already begun with the people who break free from the chains of remaining in Bavel (confusion), and make the decision to get away from their captors.

So, we ask again, Is Yisrael a Home-Born Slave? Is he a Prince that allows his servants to ride the horses back while he walks the dusty path? (Kohelet 10:7 | Ecc. 10:7) Or does Yisrael pave the way for his own freedom and use the courage to take on any new territory to claim their rightful heritage. While we are not saying the lands of Africa are the Promised Lands; it's surely closer to our home lands where we can sojourn until we are purged and prepared for re-entry into Yisrael.

Yehoshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for YEHOWAH thy POWER, will be with you wherever you go.”

Shalom to all Yisrael in Emet (Truth). I greet you all in the tongue of our Ancient Forefathers... :שלום לכל בית ישראל, תורה ומשיח, אשר מציבים את חוקי יהוה במקום הראשון בחייהם

This topic of whether Yisraelites today are 'Home Born Slaves' is truly mind boggling, because YAH had created us all for His Glory and the Light to all Nations (Yeshaiyahu 42:1-7). We are in the times of Daniyel 12:1-4 and we need to be focused on making the correct choice of we could be left asleep. Yes! YAH had placed a ruock of deep-sleep over us all (Yeshaiyahu 29:10) and it's time to wake up. The ones of us who have awaken are in our own ruockeim tossin…
